We therefore comply with the applicable data protection provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the Austrian Data Protection Act ("DSG") and the Telecommunications Act ("TKG") concerning the protection, lawful processing and confidentiality of personal data as well as data security. In the following, you will learn what information we potentially collect, process and use when you visit and use our online services on our website (www.mineralien.co.at) or our social media channels (Facebook), or when you contact us via phone. You will receive the information about the processing of your data by the provider of the social media platform under Pt 6.

Personal data is information relating to data subjects that is identified or at least identifiable. This includes your name, your address or your e-mail address.

Contacting us and orders
When you place an order or request through the contact or callback form on the website, via e-mail, through the webshop as a guest or as a registered costumer, through our social media channels on Facebook, Youtube or Pinterest (e.g. through the private chat or via traditional mail on our fanpage) or via phone, we collect the provided personal information for processing your order, customer care, contract management and precontractual obligations (such as product requests) pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR. The conclusion and the fulfilment of your order can be done, only, when we process your personal data. If you do not provide us with the required data, the contract cannot be concluded and the services cannot be used.
Furthermore, we process your personal data provided through our Facebook fanpage (e.g. private chats, posts on our website, likes etc.) as joint controllers pursuant to Art 26 GDPR with Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland.
We transfer your data to our service providers to be able to fulfil your order. These include communication service providers, postal operators and courier services as well as payment service providers.
Newsletter
If you have given us your explicit consent through activating the checkbox in the course of the newsletter subscription, we use your personal data (name, address, telephone number as well as shipping address) for the mailing of information about our products and services via e-mail pursuant to Sec 107 Telecommunications Act.
You may withdraw such consent at any time for specific or all purposes by contacting us (e.g. via e-mail to support@mineralien.co.at, following the unsubscribe link in the e-mail footer, etc.).
Legitimate interests
Moreover, we use your personal data in the course of our legitimate interests in managing the company pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR for the following purposes: reaction to requests which are not directed towards the conclusion of a contract, enforcement of legal claims, safeguarding of the IT-security and the running of IT operations as well as the analysis of the visitor behaviour on our website. Likewise, we may process the data that is publicly accessible on our social media channels for the purpose of internal analyses or for the organisation of events within our legitimate interest in managing the company.
For this, we also transfer your data to IT service providers, lawyers and collection agencies.
Legal obligations
We process your personal data pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit c GDPR in the extent respectively required by the law for the fulfilment of legal obligations (eg fiscal and commercial specifications). For this purpose, we may transfer your personal data to authorities or courts in the extent necessary.

Apart from that, we store your personal data from our customer account for nine years after the last order to be able to guarantee a continuous customer care.

In individual cases, personal data may be stored for the time in which claims can be pursued against the operator (legal limitation period of 3 or up to 30 years).
We store your personal data collected through cookies and for the purpose of IT-security on this website for a period of 1 year.
For marketing purposes, we process your data until the withdrawal of your consent or for a maximum of 3 years of your inactivity.
